Join Brussels Muzieque on May 28th for a concert featuring our special international guest, the acclaimed Schumann Quartett, alongside Brussels Muzieque artists Sarah Oates, Nadja Nevolovitsch, Monika Mlynarczyk, and Eduardo Tonietto in a performance of a string octet.
The event will take place in the Caryatide Hall at Cercle Gaulois, Brussels, and will begin with Beethoven's String Quartet No. 4 in C minor, Op. 18. The program will conclude with Enescu's String Octet in C major, Op. 7, composed when George Enescu was just 19 years old. This piece is notable for its complex counterpoint and the ambitious integration of a symphonic approach within chamber music.
